United Youth We Stand was founded in 2019 by Samantha Rodriguez at age 15, after a family friend was unjustly detained by ICE in Kansas. The organization now operates two chapters — Bay Area (San Jose, Oakland, Fremont) and Coachella Valley — serving first-generation Latino immigrant communities with free DACA, asylum, and deportation defense clinics, a rapid response network that deploys volunteers within hours of ICE operations, and a 24/7 emergency family support hotline. The site reflects their mission: dignity, justice, solidarity, and empowerment.
