How to Schedule a Google Business Profile Post

Quick Answer

Google Business Profile now lets you schedule posts in advance — no more remembering to post every week. You can batch-create content and schedule it all at once from your desktop.

1.Go to your Google Business Profile

Visit business.google.com and sign in.

2.Click "Add update"

On your dashboard, click the "Add update" button (it may also appear as "Add post").

3.Write your post

Add your text, upload a photo, and include a call-to-action button if you want (Call, Book, Learn more, etc.).

4.Click the arrow next to "Post"

Instead of clicking Post immediately, click the small dropdown arrow next to the Post button.

5.Select "Schedule post"

Choose the date and time you want the post to go live, then confirm.

Tip: Google Posts expire after 7 days, so posting consistently matters more than posting perfectly. One project photo per week is enough to keep your profile active and signaling to Google.
